During the TEST SITE open day on August 11th Inma Pavon performed an improvised dance response to the melody of Carolan’s Dream. Inma wove her way across the floor of the pavilion in response to the ebbs and flows of this haunting melody composed by Turlough O’ Carolan, a blind celtic composer, harper and singer. The Merrion pavers provided a clean edged, smooth textured surface for Inma to move across. Improvising in response to the regular spaced lines of the paving, Inma’s movements appeared effortless.
Thank you to Inma for animating the space and moving so elegantly and energetically throughout the site.
Thank you to Kilsaran for providing the materials for this sharp, paved surface.
